About Jeanine Best

“It is not the length of life, but the depth of life.” (Ralph Waldo Emerson) After living the corporate life, Jeanine Best realized that her ‘best’ life was yet to come, and the journey to get there would prove fulfilling for more reasons than her own.

Jeanine grew up in Chicago, watching her hard-working father pulling nights and weekends to make ends meet. He was always entrepreneurial, and would do whatever it took to support the family. Despite his actions, she saw her parents struggle with finances their whole lives. She vowed to get an education and work hard so her own family didn’t have to live paycheck to paycheck. So she graduated from the University of Illinois in 2002 and began working as a financial analyst with Abbott Laboratories. It was here where she would meet her future husband, Jon. As the years went by, though she enjoyed the job, it became increasingly apparent that she and Jon were both working many tedious, late nights with little human connection. She sensed she was falling into a similar pattern as her father and decided to make one of many life-changing decisions that would result in a better life. That’s when she moved toward the sales industry.

In 2012, another change occurred: their beloved daughter, Sophia, was born. She was elated to become a mother, and that brought with it another eye-opening realization. The commute to her sales training job was exhausting and demanding, and she was right back where she didn’t want to be. By this time, however, she and Jon had begun investing in real estate and flipping homes, a very successful endeavor for them. That would become the catalyst that brought her best life forward, so she overcame her uncertainty of leaving the corporate world and became a licensed agent so she could use her experience and financial background to help other people make their best real estate move. That’s how she became known for the mantra, “Your Best Move”.

Today, Jeanine is recognized for working with up-sizers who are seeking an exclusive community or down-sizers who want a more manageable lifestyle. When Jeanine isn’t influencing change and dedicating herself to her work, she can be found playing tennis with her daughter and husband in their second home on Lake Oconee. Her dedicated pursuit toward the best life for herself and her family is reflected in her commitment to values of responsiveness, hard work, and loyalty. Yes, it is indeed not the length of life, but the depth that brings the best life has to offer.
